ABOUT THE CHAPTER

The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of IHRIM is geared toward highlighting and educating its membership on HR and HRIS industry trends, products, services, and standard business practices. The DFW area is a hub for businesses in many industries and is proving to be a very lucrative area for new business.

Many of our industry's most productive products and services providers are either based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or have a large staff located within minutes of your organization. The ability to reach out and tap into such a large industry knowledge base is duplicated in very few locations within the continental United States.

CHAPTER GEOGRAPHY

As previously mentioned, the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter consists of a much larger area than just North Texas.

As you can see above, the organization covers most of North Texas, all of Oklahoma and Arkansas, and a large portion of Louisiana. This geographical makeup allows the chapter to branch out and touch a large portion of the HRIS industry.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES

The Dallas/Fort Worth Board of Directors is assessing interest in creating satellite or focus groups in the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and/or Little Rock areas. If you reside or work in any of these areas and have an interest in "starting something in your neck of the woods," please contact us at communications@ihrim-dfw.org to discuss further. We feel that there may be a market in these areas just waiting for IHRIM to step in and organize - we're here to answer that call.
